Kristi, originally from northern Indiana, developed a passion for golf at the age of 5, inspired by her older brother. Her journey led her to play for IUPUI, where she achieved significant success, winning five collegiate tournaments and earning the title of 2011 Indiana Player of the Year by winning the Indiana State Am.

Post-graduation, Kristi transitioned to the professional ranks, qualifying for the LPGA’s Symetra Tour on her first attempt in 2013. During her three years on the tour, she showcased her skills on Golf Channel’s Big Break Florida Season and Monday Qualified for two LPGA events. Unfortunately, sciatic problems led her to take a medical leave in 2016.

During the hiatus, Kristi and her husband decided to start a family. She stepped away from golf for seven years, working as an Insurance Agent and Director of Client Relations. However, her passion for the sport brought her back to Backswing Golf, where she now plays a pivotal role in fundraising for charity golf events. This year, Kristi has expanded her responsibilities, taking on the role of Recruitment. She is enthusiastic about educating girls on the diverse opportunities offered by Backswing, opportunities she felt were lacking when pursuing her dreams post-college.
