Andrew Hickman grew up an athlete, playing basketball and football. However, he had a close connection to golf through playing with his father and his future wife. He has been a part of the BackSwing Golf Events family since the early days. He and his wife moved to Arizona from the Pacific Northwest, and she was one of the early pros to work for BackSwing. His family has directly benefited from the support BackSwing provides for its pros striving to play professionally. He and his wife live in Arizona with their daughter, who they would love to see following her mother’s footsteps in golf.

​After nearly a decade in the coffee industry, where he managed multiple brick-and-mortar locations and mobile events locations at golf events like Waste Management and Shriners Children’s Open, he is now at BackSwing. He leads the Event Management Team, which works with the pros getting them to the correct event, providing resources to help the pros improve their fundraising skills, and recruiting the next wave of pros that can work with BackSwing to help support their professional career. He knows how important BackSwing is for the future of women's golf and is excited to continue to help BackSwing improve and grow.
